“No Kings” is a song about pushing back against modern forms of authoritarianism: condemning police brutality, calling out the billioniare Epstein class, and the criminal actions of ICE. In this song we directly call out the criminal and corrupt President, his disregard for the rule of law, and his abuse of the judicial system. It examines how political power can be misused and maintained, through fear, shame, the threat of violence, and the manipulation of identity. “No Kings” isn’t about replacing one ruler with another; it’s about rejecting the idea that anyone should rule through fear or unquestioned authority. It’s a call for accountability, solidarity, and reclaiming humanity in a world that often treats people as expendable.
